Contribuer aux commentairesMet friends for dinner here while I was in the area. Adorable place with some very neat seating and the original vault from the bank still in place! Calamari was perfectly crunchy on the outside and not overcooked. Zuppa di pesce was delicious and a hugeplatter. Would definitely return
We went here for the paranormal dinner and tour its an old bank from the 1960's which became it's first restaurant around the 1970,s it was called the Birmingham restaurant then another owner took over changed the name. And now the owner Mike has had itfor the last 16yrs and it has been the Twisted vine restaurant since. With lots and lots of exciting history and haunted storiesand paranormal activities since day one. You can buy tickets online for many different things and events they have. Or just gofor a very very tasty dinner. With amazing service very welcoming and polite staff. And an unbelievable atmosphere and decor.Awesome evening we had an will 100% be going back.
We visited for the first time tonight, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere is filled with nostalgia and history, making it truly one-of-a-kind. Our waitress, Marissa, was attentive and incredibly personable, which made us feel like we’ll definitely be returning soon. The food was outstanding—generous portions and clearly made from scratch. To top it all off, the owner stopped by our table, which truly adds a five-star touch! This place is absolutely worth the trip to Derby, CT.
I had a fantastic experience! My sister celebrated her bachelorette dinner at this restaurant, and afterward, we enjoyed a paranormal tour of the building. The architecture is quite impressive, and the owner, Mike, was incredibly welcoming and friendly, going out of his way to make sure we had a wonderful time. The food and service were exceptional, and if you're interested in paranormal or spooky themes, I highly recommend checking it out! Thank you, Mike and the staff, for a memorable evening!
I visited this restaurant with my wife for a date, and the ambiance is wonderfully vintage, which is to be expected in a historic building. The food was fantastic! The staff were friendly, and the owner was particularly nice; he even shared a bit of the neighborhood's history, which I found very fascinating. As a history enthusiast, I really appreciate seeing a place like this still thriving—it’s impressive! The restaurant was bustling with activity. They also have a basement bar and dining area that I plan to check out next time. Overall, it's a great restaurant! They offer a spooky story as well, but you'll need tickets for that tour.
