It was a wet and wild day, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine care, wet dogs and muddy as we were. The fire was stoked, the food was excellent and there were even games to play. We had a smashing time
Great atmosphere and customer service with staff going the extra mile and a lovely dog friendly space.
We went in for a drink at the end of a long walk. We got there just before the heavens opened and it was relaxing to watch the rain in warm surroundings. A roaring fire was most welcome. Good range of beers and the Yorkshire crisps were well received
Good food, good service, prices reasonable and most importantly for Derbyshire the staff are actually friendly. Situated next to Rowtor rocks, worth the short climb for the views. Not too posh so thankfully they don't seem to mind muddy boots.
