One concern I have is the step inside the entrance. Yes, it's a old building and this was the design back in the day but while I was dining there was quite a few stumbles down the step. There is a notice (mind the step) on the entrance door in the middle of the Christmas wreath so warning is given although I'd guess emphasis is looking at the wreath.. I can see a nasty fall occurring in the future. I don't have an answer to the problem, I hope someone else does. Nice to see the fire lit, always creates a nice atmosphere especially on a cold December day. Will definitely be returning
Love this place ! Absolutely excellent service. Dog friendly, lots of lovely beers, roaring fires and great food. We’ll be back
