Gourmet Deli - Detroit

Very glad that they have opened back up! Their food selection for breakfast and lunch is amazing. Their Iced Lavazza coffee is amazing unfortunately because they are just opening back up they were not serving iced coffee but this will not deter me from returning. Very friendly staff :

This is by far my favorite place to come and get breakfast and lunch! They have many selections to choose from though it 's a tad pricy I still do not mind it since the quality of the food is amazing! The staff is very helpful and friendly I have noticed that they have hired new staff. Most of them have been friendly however I have had the displeasure of encountering a certain staff member that has been flat out rude. The first encounter I had was when I ordered a iced coffee and this staff member flat out said I 'm not making that and had me wait 10 minutes until another employee came and made it for me. Mind you there was no line or anybody to tend to. Though this irritated me I brush this off as her having a bad day. The second bad encounter I had was over the phone I needed to speak to someone about an item missing that I paid for. A lady answered the phone and because she couldn 't hear me handed the phone to someone else and left me on hold for 5 minutes before someone spoke to me. I will still go back to this place because of the food and majority of the staff but I do think some staff members do need some training on how how to interact with customers.

I absolutely love this place—the best salad in the Ren Cen! The only thing they really need to work on is the quality of their forks; they're quite terrible!

Since I work in the building, I always stop in whether to grab breakfast or get there delicious soups. The Staff is always friendly and professional!😊
