Gilhooley's Restaurant Oyster Bar

As a first-time visitor, I have to say that if you love oysters, this place is an absolute must-visit! The raw oysters were fantastic, especially the Oysters Rockahooley; they were a highlight of our appetizers. I also tried the Mahi Mahi tacos, which were incredible. The drinks received an A+ as well. Highly recommend this spot!

The chicken fried chicken exceeded my expectations for a seafood restaurant. However, the ceviche and Mexican corn fell short. While it may not be the best value, the ambiance was pleasant, and there were cats around, which added a nice touch.

We sat outside, and the fans and breeze made for a very comfortable experience. The Oysters Gilhooley were so delicious that we ordered a second dozen! The salads were incredibly fresh and tasty. It was definitely worth the hour's drive, and we will be back!

It was my bday.. we myself and a gf Sherry) sat at the bar Amy the bartender was fun attentive and on point. I had the chicken frd stk. My friend had smoked oysters.. it was ALL AMAZING AND REASONABLY PRICED. I bought the sauteed shrimp po boy to go for my boyfriend and he LOVED IT!! Amy made a perfect margarita on the rocks and I had a GREAT BDAY DINNER!! GOOD JOB Y'ALL!!! TY!

Such a great place to eat and enjoy friends company. Sport good food. Waitress were very friendly and easy on the eyes. A must try if your in the area of San Leon, TX. You'll love it.
