Cafe Lafourche - Donaldsonville

My husband and I came to dinner in October 2016 and my taste buds go crazy every time I think about it. Our meal was fabulous. I'm back in town now and I just can't wait to come back!

Excellent kitchen, friendly service, comfortable atmosphere. Excellent duck, bisque and red snaps! Great!

One night came to this place and there had only one waitress the place was packed over and she was so sweet and funny our food was punctual and no one complained, it needs more people in work like her. She was covered with tattoos, but the morality of history never judged a book of his cover because she is beautiful inside and our food was excellent and everything was right and punctual to say that poor thing was on the ground blessed her heart. I want to visit Every time we are in town!

Food was excellent. They only had two servers on a Saturday night, but the owner apologized for waiting. The food was worth waiting. Prices a little high, but normal for a seafood place. I would say the average price was about $15-20 per record. I wish her website had the prices so we saw them before we eat with them.

One thing about Louisiana- Almost everywhere is a mixture of things. So many descriptions could be put together for this place. Excellent food. Great Atmosphere. Southern. Cajun. Elegant. Country. Down home. Excellent service. Subdued. This is an out of the way place but worth the side trip.
