This is a really interesting location (within an old as museum restored 'Zeche ' that offers drinks and snacks, but can as well be rented for bigger events like weddings etc. ... outdoor seating kids playground are offered as well. The service, food and...infrastructure for the event I 've attended was just great. Staff was very attentive and helpful and everything (incl. the 'animated ' part of the eve went very smoothly and satisfying for everybody.
The Pferdestall is located on the premises of a colliery museum which in itself is definitely worth the visit and when you 're there, don 't miss the Pferdestall, even if it 's only for a cup of coffee. The interior is charming and beautiful, true...to its name the Pferdestall uses the rooms that used to be the stables of the mine 's fire fighters ' horses. The food is fresh and tasty, most recipes reflect the old traditional foods of the region like Himmel und Erde heaven and earth which combines potatoes and apples with spicy blood pudding. Yummy! The Pferdestall can also be fully recommended for private parties of all sizes. There are plenty of party food ideas on offer and all individual wishes will be taken into account, too, of course. We combined our party with a tour of the museum between meals, something that all our guests liked a lot.
Had a nice dinner with workmates at this restaurant located in what was formerly the stables for the now-defunct mining complex surrounding the mining complex. Service felt a bit slow, but that might have been because we were quite hungry already when arriving.
Good dinner with colleagues. we had a buffet with various meats, salads, and other sides. i would recommend
