Bistro De La Gare - Drummondville

I absolutely adored this place! The staff was incredibly friendly and the other customers were even more welcoming. We felt like we were part of the community. The band, The Hangover, was fantastic - amazing music and easy on the eyes. We will definitely be returning!

On dirait que le tartare est leur spécialité mais sinon le hamburger et le sandwich étaient secs, les frites froides mais la jolie serveuse. Vous devez être patient, mais compte tenu du manque de personnel partout où vous devez attendre. L'atmosphère, le réglage et le choix du gin sont excellents ! Je recommande pour un bon endroit pour ceux qui continuent à, nous laissons de belles entrées et un tartare tout en prenant un bon verre mais pas pour un bon repas.

We visited the Bistro de la Gare on a Monday afternoon in August. We were looked after quickly and seated in the bar area. The restaurant was fairly quiet (it was about one pm). Our server was efficient and friendly, explaining the specials well. We ended up choosing items from the À la carte menu: Sandwich au poulet, mangue et avocat (chicken, avocado and mango sandwich) and Croque-bistro. Both sandwiches are offered with house salad, Caesar salad or French fries. We chose the house salad. The sandwiches were great, as were the salads. The waitstaff realized that we were waiting to take a train at the nearby train station, and so offered that we leave our bags for safekeeping at the bistro and visit the neighbourhood. Most appreciated.
