Run into the ground by a person who claims to be the manager but is actually just a glorified barmaid. Rude and selective based upon a very biased mindset. Don't go here if your not a local. Hopefully this honest post will get the real manager to take some action and get rid of the staff who deter the nice honest customers to return.

Just finished a tour of the jail and walking back to hotel and it started raining,schocking.We ducked in this small authentic Irish pub for some lunch.It was the second week of May just before the start of heavy tourist season.we were all a little wet from the liquid sunshine. Ed the owner had us sit next to the fireplace he had started.Talked with a couple of friendly patrons and we ordered some Irish coffees and soup.Food was great and beer was cold.Ed gave me a tour of the back room of the pub and it was huge.Looks like it could seat more than 100 people with a long bar and a great sound systemThis place rocks.Drop in for a visit,you’ll be glad you did

We had amazing meals here. My wife enjoyed the burger which can either nice thick chips (fries) and I had the veggie curry. Both meals were full of flavor and very large portions. We met the owner who was working the bar... You could see his passion to customer satisfaction and was very friendly to locals and tourists. I just wish I took a few pictures of the place and our meals. 5*

Dropped in with a big group to watch the rugby. Despite being English and recent rugby events the locals and owners were unbeliably friendly and welcoming. The smaller front bar is a proper boozer. The larger bar area out back looked great although had a private function on whilst we visited. Would definitely drop in again for a pint and some neck ache looking and laughing at all the pictures on the ceiling.

Went to have drinks for a birthday was welcomed by the most friendly staff! Joe is the man to look for at this pub... caters for everyone so kind welcoming! Always happy leaving this place
