Costa - Dumfries Galloway

Down for a few days to Gretna, and met up here with some friends, like most Costa's they are quick to serve you, but not so quick to clear the tables, food crumbs on tables which needed to be cleaned before we sat down, which we done ourselves. apart from that, cakes were okay.

This restaurant is typically crowded, but we were able to easily get a table. There was a large line, but it moved quickly. The service was excellent.

Good selection of shops and cafes within easy reach of M74. Plenty parking. Added attraction of The Gretna Blacksmith's exhibition and shop nearby. A few hotels/pubs within strolling distance too. Wide level pathways with only a few steps. Only downside is that it is all open air, so subject to the vagaries of the weather, but many good sized shops to hide in!

I have visited many Costa outlets, but what sets this one apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff. They are always helpful, cheery, and polite. Even when the restaurant is busy, they efficiently clear tables of dirty dishes. Overall, this Costa offers a pleasant, clean, and friendly atmosphere for a relaxing break.

This Costa Café is just like the rest - offering the typical menu items and atmosphere. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the helpful staff this time around. The tables were promptly cleared, and there were no grumpy faces in sight. That's always a nice bonus!
