Warm and attentive service, excellent recommended for wein. one of the employees seems uncomfortable (coughing) and would have appreciated if he wore a mask.

Our twice yearly visits to Kensington from Canada have suffered a pandemic pause but are now about to resume and Il Portico has jumped to the top of our must try list. All reliable reviews show the food, service and ambience to be worthy of a visit. Let the haters stew in their bile, we are looking forward to what we are convinced will be a delightful and satisfying evening meal.

Absolutely sublime. The food and service were outstanding. Always so hard to choose where to eat when visiting London but I come here time and time again. The muscles were out of this world. We had more wine than planned because it was so good and perfectly recommended by the staff.

Wonderful local restaurant that has been there for a long time when I was on earth, that is a long time and a good sign. warm welcome and honest Italian cuisine cooked with love. often really interesting special dishes from the Hampshire countryside. james and his family have a jewel of a restaurant. happy to have it in the neighbourhood.

Delicious tasting authentic Italian food with great service. Really enjoyed a meal here and the menu is superb. Great choice with lots of variety with info showing where the food is sourced. The specials are great the location with outside gazebos really is a nice touch. Would recommend
