We started with appetizers. I had the crab bisque, my husband had the shrimp cocktail. The bisque was quite flavorful. There were bits of crab but nothing remarkable. The shrimp in the cocktail were a very generous size. However, the shrimp were warm. Also, we had to ask for cocktail sauce. Shrimp cocktail. No cocktail sauce? It was brought out but that just struck me as odd. Bread was brought to the table, it was stone cold. It was nothing more than frozen bread, made, then put in the fridge. For dinner I had chicken piccata, my husband had stuffed shrimp. I can't complain about portion size, there was enough to feed 4 people between the 2 plates. That's ok, we like leftovers. We asked for grated cheese, it was nothing more than Kraft Parmesan. Even Olive Garden brings out fresh cheese and grates it right there. The food was good but not remarkable, nothing greatly memorable or can't wait to go back again. The other thing that had us scratching our head... the menu. We had different menus. Mine had certain things on it, my husband had other things on it. This was not a handwritten specials menu but a printed, regular menu. But they differed. Not only for items offered but price as well. My menu said chicken piccata $16.99, my husbands it said $20.00, as was the same with a few other choices. We looked carefully at the check when we got it. Will I go back? I might. Will I run back or strongly suggest someone else try it? Probably not so much.
We made a reservation for 7, only to find out they close at 7. However the hours on open table and on google show later times. The girl we were greeted by didn’t know we had a reservation as she said she was busy (when we got there there was one other couple). She did allow us to eat there but it was very uncomfortable once the music turned off and you could hear them in the kitchen talking about how late we got there. (Again didn’t know that we were making a reservation outside hours as no where but the front door has 7pm listed as a closing time. Food was ok. I don’t know that I would go back again
This restaurant ruined our Valentine evening! We had a 6:45 reservation and our meal was delivered to our table at 8:39. We literally were sat and forgotten. We had to ask for water while we waited. From where we sat we could see the people coming in for their takeout all night long and getting their food right away. Perhaps we should’ve ordered on line!
Made a reso for an early Valentine dinner. Walked in to a line. Brand new server on-had no idea what she was doing-said we had a reso and told us to go sit over there -no menus-no service-no asking our name or verifying Open Table. We got our own menus. Waited. Waited. Another new server came over-overwhelmed-although the restaurant was only half full-people waiting a long time for their take out also. Brought our own wine-asked for wine glasses and ice water-got the glasses and a cup of ice-menu was a priced fixed-not advertised online or Open Table. Asked about one or two items-server didn 't know and had to go ask. Ordered cajun pasta and eggplant rollatini-got the pasta and chicken parm-sent it back-got the eggplant with cold penne. The rolls beforehand looked like they were smooshed. Food was average-disappointed as other Open Table reviews were very good. Service staff was very sweet but totally untrained and that 's on the owner/manager. We 'll never return.
