Cracker Barrel - Edinburgh

We had a wonderful waitress who was very helpful. Our food arrived quickly when we were there at 3 o'clock, as it wasn't too crowded. I enjoyed the cookies, while my husband had the meat. There was also a very lovely gift shop.

The restaurant is decent, but the expectations are high. The menu has changed once again, which seems to be a common occurrence nowadays. There are many trendy coffees and other drinks available, but not as many food options. The food was good, but there seems to be a lack of consistency. The restaurant needs to return to serving simple, good food quickly. This is the third time we have had to wait too long for our food and refills.
