The owner of this restaurant is fantastic! Even though it was quite busy when we arrived, he took the time to greet us and made sure we were attended to promptly. The food was amazing! The soup and toastie were the best I've had in a long time. We will definitely be returning soon.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially after we had a problem with our nearby Airbnb. The bacon and scrambled eggs were absolutely delicious!

A small and charming café with tables adorned with fresh flowers. Dermot bakes delicious cakes and breads on site and serves excellent espresso drinks at affordable prices.

My friend and I found this little place when we were out for a walk around Bruntsfield and Morningside. It was small and cosy and we got a warm welcome from the friendly owner. We had lattes and the most delicious Victoria sponge cake and scone, baked freshly that morning! Unfortunately, the cafe does not have a toilet , so we had to use the Costa cafe toilet along the street otherwise, I would've given this establishment 5 stars! It was also very reasonable and much cheaper than Costa!

This is consistently good, the food is made to order by staff who genuinely care. Baking and coffee both of a very high standard.
