Yet the food, a Mediterranean fusion, was surprisingly good. For meze, we ordered Artichoke (salad), Hellim (grilled cheese with an excellent sauce on the side), stuffed eggplant, garlic bread, fries and patatas gratinadas. I had dish of the day which was lamb with vegetables in the oven and it was delicious. The only negative thing was the slow yet super friendly service.
Good Middle-Eastern restaurants are hard to find in Edinburgh, but this is one of the few. Mezze dishes are a treat, but larger meals are readily available. Today was very quiet (like the city itself, right now). Service was welcoming, friendly and fast. Definitely one to remember.
It's hard to find good restaurants in the Near East area of Edinburgh, but this one is a rare gem. The mezze dishes are delicious, and there are also plenty of larger meal options available. Today, the restaurant was very quiet, much like the city itself at the moment. The service was warm, friendly, and efficient.
I was initially unsure about the restaurant choice, as they offered hummus on the menu and I usually only eat Lebanese food in Lebanon. However, the Mediterranean fusion cuisine at this restaurant was surprisingly good. For appetizers, we ordered the artichoke salad, grilled halloumi cheese with a tasty sauce, stuffed eggplant, garlic bread, fries, and gratin potatoes. I tried the lamb dish of the day, which was sweet and delicious. The only downside was the slow service, but the staff were very friendly.
We were with us. the personal was helpful. the food was beautiful. we had the common meze. only one complaining gin was strong!
