The first time here loved the crispy chicken burger. Good price for food. Excellent customer service.will.com back
The homemade burger patty with all the perfect toppings, fresh bun, hot crispy fries, and delicious gravy were all exceptional! Our friends also raved about the incredible French toast. The service was excellent. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant!
My family and I visited this restaurant for Sunday brunch. The portions were large, but the food was only average. The Breakfast Poutine was huge and the eggs were good, but the Hash Browns didn't taste like real frits. Overall, our meals were okay, but not excellent. It seems like the frying oil needed to be changed as it affected the taste of the food.
Have visited this restaurant for years, then cook John left and the food did not measure up. Was there once in 2018 wasn 't impressed, but it being in the neighborhood I WANTED IT TO IMPRESS. Stopped in on Friday Jan 25, 2019. One of us...ordered the special, Chicken Oscar, I ordered the veal cutlets. The service was good+, young lad, friendly and all. The entree 's arrived and first thing I noticed was the veal had burn marks from the flat top. Upon cutting into the veal it had the taste of deep fried from frozen and thrown on the flat top to mark it. The fries, again, deep fried from frozen, under cooked, mushy inside, couldn 't eat it, the young lad asked if I wanted it boxed up and I was bad and stated I wouldn 't feed that to my dogs. My partners meal did not fair much better, the chicken was dry, over salted, the crab was fake and tasted terrible, the scallops where of the miniature variety, hard to pick out on the plate, too salty. This meal was our last visit, $57.00, no discount offered. It was bad. Sorry Country Roads, we 'll be going elsewhere.
