I went to this restaurant for a meeting. I rarely ordered the Rib Eye Medium. It was good, it was dry, I wasn't happy. But I didn't pay and there were 20 or so of us, so I didn't want to send back... before everyone. Would not go back there and would not recommend others. Very expensive for bad service and food.
I was surprised that you could quickly get a healthy breakfast. Sure you can also be as ingenious as you want, but the fresh avocado is a beautiful touch.
If you're looking for a good meal at a fair price and don't mind the lack of style, then this place isn't bad. I tried the clubhouse sandwich, which was tasty. The fries were a bit soggy though. The service at Ricky's was fine, just what you'd expect. Our food came out quickly. Overall, a budget-friendly lunch option with high-quality food (for dinner at a budget-friendly price).
All I wanted was a simple breakfast bowl with the hollandaise on the side and dry toast. Nope. Too complicated, I guess. I had to take the bowl back to the kitchen myself (and interrupt the server as she was checking her phone messages). So...she brought back the bowl, with the same buttered toast, and said 'the cook scraped off most of the hollandaise, is that ok '? No, it 's not ok. I refused the breakfast and went to Denny 's. I 'll maybe go back to Ricky 's Edmonton Centre again when they 've got their serving staff upgraded to ... acceptable.
