Contribuer aux commentairesMountain Dining always has its challenges, especially when it is behind the gated community of Cordillera. However, these guys offer a consistently pleasant experience. I love the clubhouse that I love the golf course and can eat here for lunch is a pleasure. It's really an unexpected and surprising gift in the middle of nowhere when I think about it.
As usual, staff is attentive, human and knowledgeable. Chef circulated and spoke to guests. Large wine selection with enthusiastic and knowledgeable sommelier. The smell of outdoor forest fire was tantalizing. The inner atmosphere is quintessential mountain heat. Large open to two sides fireplace, wooden beams ceiling, cozy highly padded leather chairs through the fire, beautiful bar area. Only came to drink tonight, but the food from the past is also worth eating. The next night for dinner. The home special for the evening was ideal for the cold winter night Elch Stroganoff. Super delicate Elch tenderloin, rich and tasteful sauce and three different types of juicy mushrooms Shitake, oysters and trumpet. And as a beautiful background Peter Vavra on piano. Update: Another delicious dinner. The salmon was just as I like it, a crispy lake on the outside and moist on the inside. The presentation was as beautiful as it was to eat. The fillet sat on a creative bed of fine threads crispy sweet potatoes. Adjacent was a butternut squash puree dotted with three tiny slightly piquant Peruvian sweetie peppers. On both sides of the salmon were sauteed brittle sprout petals scattered, and round the harmonious color and taste combo was a garnish of a few sprigs of parsley and delicate pea shoots. I saved space to dessert one of the rotating souffle selections. The souffle here is an airy cake such as dessert (in contrast to a cuddly icy souffle) with a middle pouring and top-drozzle of the warm sauce. Tonight was my favorite banana flavor with rumcaramel sauce. Good thing I spit out today!
The food, service and ambience in this restaurant are all excellent. It's my favorite place in Vail for dinner.
The food is wonderful here. I've been multiple times and haven't been disappointed by anything I have ordered.
Easy waiting staff and hostess were just the beginning of our amazing lunch in Timber Hearth. All our meals were delicious and had nice presentation. A Must Go
