Churches have been serving fried chicken in El Paso for many years. It's one of the first fried chicken restaurants I remember. It's an easy way out. During this visit we ordered chicken strips with honeycomb sauce. They were served with honey biscuits. Party and family meals are also available. Friendly staff!
Food is great, service is great but could definitely use some pressure washing to clean up the place…
I craved good fried chicken. I was looking for KFC. This was on my way home. OK...back at Church's.... Super quick counter service. Breading on my 3 piece combo with large drink....was best I ever had from Churches. Hot and juicy. Place was clean. Tables clean. Big negative was zero, NO TP or hand towels in the men's restroom. None. I told a female counter person but she didn't espeakle eenglich. Come on man...stock paper so happy fans can at least wash hands or advise all visitors to bring their own. How can their employees properly wash their hands? Didn't look in the ladies room. Delish pollo!
Everything was fresh and hot. The guy taking orders at the drive thru was great. Now as far as the food, the Mac n cheese, is nothing fancy. Their crinkle fries are good. Their fried okra is a treat for a family member. They said they were good. I've been at this location a few times, usually good here. If things should change, I'll let you know. Sorry no pic, will start taking pics.
