Contribuer aux commentairesWas told it was a 30m wait, which turned into 1hr15m. Then, when our food arrived, my steak was overcooked vs. being medium well. Asked for cheese in eggs, and it was just placed on top, un melted cause the eggs were cold, and the butter on the pancakes wouldn 't melt cause they were cold. The food was returned to the kitchen, and the next time it came out, it was perfect! Was told my meal was going to be comped, but it wasn 't.The person who bought out our food asked if we needed anything else and I requested hot syrup, she said sure then politely walked it over to our waitress who was helping someone else and gave her the bottle to heat it up. Then snother customer said he was ready to place hos order to two of the waitresses that were standing by their computer talking. They yelled across the restaurant to the waitress whom the table belonged to to let them know their table was ready. I couldn 't hear her response, but the response of the other was, Well, he telling everybody over here he ready to order. Clearly, there was no teamwork here.Was told there were 3 cooks, and we counted 7 waitresses, and about half of the restaurant was with empty tables. We can hear the hostess say the kitchen was behind on 9 orders prior to us being seated.I was wanting IHOP, particularly the sirloin tips and pancakes, but this experience was subpar. I appreciate my waitress Mars as she was attentive and didn 't give no push back when I told her my meal was cold. She politely took it back and had it corrected. She appeared to be working all over the restaurant v just a section, but she did her best.No manager came by to apologize for the cold food. Sometimes that 's all it takes. Just to show the customer you care, especially if you want their business to return. This location lost out on a lot of business today.
If the best part of the restaurant is the atmosphere (being nobody was there) you know there's a problem!
Feels like a downward spiral over my past few visits. Just left without even being seated after waiting for *anyone* to come out of the kitchen.I finally gave up when one of the Dashers waiting to pick up informed me that the couple I'd passed on the bench were told they'd have a 30-45 minute wait... And only two tables even had customers seated.
We (party of 4) got there. There was a party of 8 in front of us. The restaurant was pretty much empty. There was only one person hosting, and serving. She told the party of 8 that she needs to catch up with 2 tables before seating them. I overheard this so we decided to go to another place.
The Hostess greeted us with How many then immediately gathered the Menu 's turned and walked to the table.. She didnt ask for seating preference, didnt smile or say another word.. Walked us to the table then turned and walked away.. We sat there for 20 minutes before the waiter showed up this was just a little before noon on a weekday with only one other table in the dining area occupied).. My son recieved a part of his order first and never recieved the remainder until we asked 15 minutes later his order was made complete.. So his initial pasta serving was already cold.. After about 40 minutes My wife and I recieved a part of each of our orders.. We had to ask for the remaining portions.. I went to the kitchen door and informed the employees that our orders were not complete.. They immediately brought me the rest of my meal.. My wife never recieved her missing side.. We were very disappointed with the entire experience..
