It's always really nice to find a place that's open past 10:00 p.m. but this place is unbelievably but, the atmosphere and the service were perfect, the outside doesn't look great. But oh my god it was like walking into a new dimension. Going through the front door. We got the kimchi rice balls for appetizers. I was floored, the amount of flavor in the kinchy rice bars I would blow your mind. And then we got the ramen with rice cakesGirlSo good
My husband and I are night owls and sometimes are looking for a late-night bite to eat. Many options in the area close early, especially on Sunday. We visited Rainpia late last night, and they did not disappoint! We usually get Korean fried chicken carry out from Rainpia, but decided to dine in! The staff was friendly, quick, and attentive. The food was SO good. Hot, fresh, and full of great flavors! We got the Bulgogi Riceballs, Tteokbokki Kimchi Stew. Portions are quite large and we had enough to eat there and take home! Can't wait to visit again!
I've been frequenting Rainpia during my high school and college days. Food-quality and service went down. Food costs definitely went up. I don't blame them. I've only during pre-covid times. This was my first time post-covid. The upside to this place is that they're one of few places easily-accessible off Frederick road. It's a shame that they're not what they used to be. I was disappointed but grateful that there were open later than most places. Don't get the corn cheese.
Having been stationed in Korea this cozy hole in the wall reminded me of being there, the food was good authentic, only complaint was that the bulgogi meal you had to choose between getting rice or vegetables and there was no bimbap with it.Food: 4/5
