Backroads Smokin' Bbq - Ellington

My new spot to stop and grab a breakfast sandwich. Great options cooked perfectly and quickly. Stop waisting your money at Dunkin. Take the Back road and grab some smoking BBQ.

A friend shared this place with me a few months ago. I stopped by one morning to give them a try, but took it home. It wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be, but I like like 15 minutes from there. The wife and I went in this morning and ate there. Let me tell you something. This is the top 3 places on my list for breakfast if not the top place. Everything tasted so good! I'm assuming the 2 people that were there were the owners, but they were very nice and provided excellent service. So if you like more then a few minutes from there, I would recommend eating there. You won't regret it!

Great spot in Ellington. Breakfast sandwiches are phenomenal. Try the brisket melt.

We had Backroads BBQ cater our Employee Appreciation Day at Fortis Solutions Group, they were amazing! The food was delicious and they were super easy to work with.

This place is legit. Super friendly and fast service. They packaged our order as we were ordering so we paid, grabbed our bags and left. A giant pile of food with 3 meats and 2 sides and 2 drinks is like $34, extremely reasonable. Pit Potato was massive. Beans and cornbread on point. There aren't a lot of good BBQ places in CT, but this place is now at the top of my list. There also aren't a lot of good restaurants near Stafford so it's great to know we have a new go-to, rather than just pizza.
