Everything was spectacular, especially our waiter, Frankie. He made the evening pleasant.
This was an almost $500 meal for four adults and a child. So we got food, which at best was the quality of the hospital cafeteria. Spinat salad was dressed over, but probably the best we got. Caprese salad was served with unripe tomatoes. Mushroom caps were filled with a loose collection of unseasoned bread crumbs and had the consistency of wet grain. My chicken piccata was served in a pool of sick yellow sauce and had no taste. The garlic potatoes were a consistency, a taste slush. The sauteed spinach was served in a private pool of liquid and completely boiled. One of my table mats ordered the cream brulee, took a spoon and left the rest (FYI vanilla pudding, which was tortured, is not the same as cream brulee . The cream serves with our coffee (white paper sugar packages in a $100/plate restaurant? Really? This restaurant may have been something on his day, but this day is a long past. And as a side-by-side if you have to go to the bathroom a service hall and the bathroom looks like it's in a rural mall from the 90s? It doesn't help.
Not impressed at all. Steak was overcooked, tough, and chewy. Steamed Broccoli was served raw and cold. Pasta was served luke warm and chewy. Meatballs were obviously batch cooked at some point earlier in the week and reheated in a microwave. I had to use my steak knife to try and cut through them. Nice location. This place wants to be an upscale steak house, the problem is the food and service fall short in every way. Very disappointing. We won’t be back. Too many better options in the area.
This feel more like a bar than a restaurant- very noisy. plus food was just ok, $5 per shrimp which were tasteless and tiny, my steak was dry and overcooked- best part of the meal was the wine our server. won’t be returning
