Charleys Cheesesteaks - Elmira

I enjoy coming here. The food is always delicious. Fresh made right in front of you! Every sandwich I tried here was great. Your fruit limonade in summer are amazing and they have big frits. The staff is always polite and I never have to wait too long for my food, even if it's busy.

I like the food here, but the new pickup system is not great. After placing an order, they will tell you to sit down and wait for your name. Fine, but there are fans running, spatula clanging, people talking; all echoes about the high ceilings. I heard a name that sounded like mine, so I went to the counter. An older man with a mustache said Ma'am over there! And again and again on the wall. I had no idea what he was talking about, I guess you have to go away? I took 2 steps to the left and heard that the lady said the name again, except it wasn't mine. When I started talking, the man was like Stacy? I thought you were Stacy. I said no, I can't hear anything, and I thought you said my name. I understand you probably don't like your job, but don't take it on me. I feel like a screen showing which order is present or at least one speaker/micro would help. When I finally got my sandwich, it didn't have the blows I wanted. I'm sure that was a real misunderstanding, but after I waited 20 minutes, I didn't have the time or energy to ask for something else. It still tasted good.

I always come here. Certainly, employees act as if they absolutely hate their lives, but what does food/customer service workers not do? I enjoy watching my food. It's always super good

The food and service here are always at the point. The options are very tasty and cooked before you. Usually gets pretty busy and stuffed, but the staff is efficient and move the customers pretty fast. This restaurant has remained the same over the years and serves delicious, hot, dishes every time.
