I hate to give a bad review, but eating in this restaurant was just so disappointing. on the plus side the waitress was wonderful and very helpful. on the negative side it was terrible eating. we had a kind of meatball as. one of them has a big bone (possibly a chicken neck bone or beinknick), which was 3/4 of the size of the inner of the balls, I cut it before it in my mouth and discovered the bone. I wish we had gone to that point. then we had a bad starter that was good for my head, I had ripened that were really terrible. my attention is to ripening that they should practically fall apart. I had difficulty separating them. the flesh was really hard and fat worst ever. I just couldn't wait to go somewhere else and find a coffee to get the taste. I'm sorry, but they have a nice restaurant, but they really need to work on their eating, it's just not acceptable.
We thought we would take a 40 minute drive to Ericeira and stumbled across this place. It looked nice so we thought we would try it out. To be honest we wish we hadn't and went somewhere else. The 2 young girl waitresses kept arguing,...well, all the staff actually did. I'm guessing it's their parents also working there. The food was drowned in Olive oil and was not nice at all. We felt like we had wasted our money after and couldn't wait to leave. Gutted.
Without a doubt the best meat restaurant in town ,. After a week of superb fish meals it was just great to get a wonderful fillet steak cooked to perfection. A quiet atmosphere with excellent attention. A most on any visit when a break from...fish is necessary
A new restaurant in town. A meat-only restaurant in a fisherman's village is a risky bet... but they really managed to do a good job. All starts with the name: Vigarista. Crook, Swindler, Cheater... not a name you would trust but it would make you...think. When you arrive, you notice that the design and choice of furniture and decoration are quite trendy, mixing modern ideas and old furniture. Really nice. The light, music and service are perfect. And then the food. Nice list of starters and great meat options with international ingredients and ideas. Simply delicious... If the weather allows, you can even eat outside.
