We stopped in merely by happenstance as it looked like a cute and quaint place. This is a gem of a diner that locals come to. The owner, Myra, seemed to be the entirety of the wait staff (at least on this day) and as the diner began to fill up, she handled everything quickly and happily. There was a cook behind the counter and appeared to be a prep person near the back of the restaurant. The bacon and toast were outstanding and the “Giant” pancake on the menu is exactly that, huge, filling up the entire plate. On our way out, we complemented the cook on her food and she was as friendly as the owner. If you happen to be passing through Escanaba, we highly recommend this happy place where the patrons are as friendly as the owner.
Excellent food and service, reasonably priced and large portions. Seems there is usually a decent wait, so be prepared for that.
Best breakfast and coffee, will go back. Biscuits were fresh! Yum yum
Stopped in on our way through town driving to a wedding. Service and food was great and staff and other patrons were very friendly. So glad we chose to stop here!
I had the breakfast poutine and it was incredible probably my new favorite dish there. Definitely a must get
