Great little hidden gem. Head roaster recommended some Ethiopian beans and the barista made a wonderful iced latte while I wait for my car to be serviced nearby. Glad to find a good roaster close to my house
Could not be more stoked that the Leap Roastery is so so close to my workplace!! I have missed Leap Coffee so much in their Carlsbad location and I am overjoyed that I can now get quality coffee in Escondido. The coffee is just as good as I knew it would be, and their iced vanilla latte remains one of my absolute favorites in North County (s/o their house-made vanilla syrup). The roastery is to-go only, but you're not required to order ahead or online or anything! They are card only bc it's not technically a storefront, but it's still got a very cute clean vibe (just a bit more utilitarian). I'm 100% going to be back! Had a really lovely convo with the person working there and it was nice to hear that Leap's been doing well in their Santa Fe Springs location.
Great spot! Delicious coffee. I love the intention they put behind their roasting! This is a hidden gem. Their coffee is worth the try!
The friend of mine recommended this coffee shop to me. I went there for the first time today and ordered a nonfat no foam latte. The first latte that was made had a beautiful design on top but it was mostly foam and the coffee was very very bitter. The barista remade it for me the way I had requested but the coffee again was very bitter so I gave it to my husband. He tasted it and thought it tasted bitter and strange so he added half-and-half. That didn't do it so we added heavy cream and he still did not like it so it ended up down the drain. The environment was lovely but the coffee was horrible.
