Essex Diner

Dined in with a coworker a few times, food was good so I didn’t bat an eye when it was available on the Too Good to Go app. 1st time got some type of beef stew with potatoes and a ridiculous amount of bay leaves. Who leaves that in?! Gave them a 2nd chance, got 2 cups of super salty chicken noodle soup and super salty beefaroni ? . Waited a few weeks thinking it might get better, ordered again and got exactly the same thing I got the 1st time ? same amount of bay leaves. Never ordering again. I don’t even want to dine in now either. Carrots were 2” thick and the celery was as long as my fingers…whoever does the prep needs to be fired because what about BITE SIZE did they not understand?

Old school diner with excellent omelets and friendly service.

I eat here a couple tines a month for breakfast or lunch. Today i got the BLT. IT WAS PERFECT. FRIENDLY atmosphere and wait staff. Parking: Great space for parking.

Use to go every Sunday.. then owners changed...food got bland and the dead flies in the windows,well,that was it for us...service was always great..

Our server Sara C was super friendly and helpful. Thefood is excellent, and the portions are generous. Parking: Plenty of parking. Kid-friendliness: There are several menu options available for kids to choose from.
