Pictured is some of the creamiest and tastiest hummus we’ve ever had and also a full meal for two that was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious! For happy hour we also enjoyed their 2 for 1 drinks. Que Quilombo does not disappoint and is highly recommend!
Dining at Que Quilombo on a Caribbean beach in Costa Rica was a delightful surprise. The Argentinian cuisine, especially the beef ribs, tenderloin, ribeye, and perfectly cooked fish, was exceptional. The red wine selection complemented our meal beautifully. The host's warm hospitality, highlighted by complimentary digestive shots, added a personal touch to our experience. Que Quilombo stood out as the best Argentinian restaurant we've encountered, combining great food, ambiance, and service in a stunning location. A truly memorable find.
CASH ONLY! Be prepared for mosquitoes. The location is far enough from the beach to make mosquitoes plentiful. Quaint setting just a short trail across from the seaside, this place is very busy and attracts both like cals and tourists. As noted by many the portions are large. The meats are well seasoned and cooked to your specifications blue , rare, medium rare... We ordered a combo for two to share for the three of us since my mom and I are not big meat eaters, but wow so much meat. We did not like the sausage which had an overly porky smell. The combo also came with fries, squash, eggplants and tomatoes. All the veggies were under seasoned and over cooked except the tomatoes which were halved and sprinkled with cheese. As I eat vegetarian meals mostly, I also had an order of hummus which I found was very good. Again the portion was large enough to share.
Amazing place! Small about 8 tabkes about 100m from the main road. Charning staff and great atmosphere. Portions are huge! One of the best ribeyes we ever had!
Boyfriend kept talking about wanting a steak... and this place is now officially ranked as one of the top 5 meals in his life . The chimichuri sauce was delicious. We ordered the Parrillada (Beef) Grill for two and the Provoleta. The enormous portions of meat were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Being from the US, the provoleta (melted cheese with chimichuri) was a welcomed dish, Costa Rica doesn 't seem to like cheese as much as we do
