Although they seem to hunt their menu quite often and I had the chance to try their smoked trout with capers. Then the fat duck was tender and juicy with wild rice. It is a small dinning part, if you think to fill the whole way up, this is not the place for it. Dessert was interesting because the chocolate sponge roll had a cool, dipped in chocolate. I ate the cold and it was fun!!
Obviously the best restaurant in Estes Park and one of the best in Colorado, we don't know better. As good as 5 stars mobile and 3 stars Michelin we were in the USA and the world. Small but beautiful menu, each product great. Great outdoor seats and dining room. Very friendly effective staff. Chef visited our table. Payable for EP, but worth it.
Really good food and wine! An unexpected culinary experience in the Estes Park. Coming from a big city, I had no high expectations of the food scene, but this dinner was delicious. So many great flavors and the wine selection to couples it really has to the next level. In any case, an expensive but rewarding treatment!
One of the biggest meals I had in a while. Super surprised that this humble little jewel is standing here in this small tourist town, I thought that this is more like the kind of restaurant you are in NYC or LA? Everything was very tasty and unique. I ordered the cheese puppets, smoked trout and the main entrance Das?ll do:Pig (picture). I love the smoke trout. Tasted, rich, creamy and not too salty, and paired very well with thin toast. So good that I licked the tiny spoon that was used for dissemination. Also very nice and warm employees. At the end, talk to the cook. Overall, it would love to come again.
I'd recommend this restaurant for a cute, cozy dinner! We went for a birthday dinner and they added lovely personal touches. The food was INCREDIBLE, the menu changes often but I have no doubt every selection would be fantastic. The staff were so nice. Lovely views from a window seat, as it was too cold for outdoor seating early May. We'll definitely return if we're back in Estes!
