Portion is big for lunch. My grilled pork chop was a bit dry. But the mix grilled plate is good for three ladies to share for sure. The deep fried cheese was quite different and good. During week day there is free crepes after meal. Very good. If I am in the neighbourhood I will come back again and try schnitzel for a change.
We decided to try this place out based on other reviews and it turned out to be the best value in GTA! Great food, very good service and reasonable prices made us go back three times in one month.
These people that own the restaurant are amazing!!! The chef is the best!!! and the service is more than amazing! Anybody from ex Yugoslavia will
Great little restaurant, food was delicious, plentiful and not overpriced. Service was great. Not busy during lunch hour on a weekday, however street parking in that area is a nightmare.
We ordered 4 Shopska salads, the large Karadjordje pork schnitzel, 20 pieces of Cevapi, and a Krmenadle. I had a pleasant conversation with Sinisa, who took our order. The food was delicious and reminded me of traditional dishes from the former Yugoslavia. The Krmenadle was especially fantastic, with two large, juicy pork pieces that melted in my mouth, served with herbs and potatoes. It was the best I've had outside of the region. We love exploring Balkan restaurants and this one is definitely the best we've found. My husband also enjoyed his Karadjordje schnitzel, saying it was the best he can remember. Our teenagers devoured the Cevapi without leaving a single piece. Despite its small exterior, the restaurant felt spacious and welcoming inside. We wished we could have stayed longer in the area just to dine there every day. Kudos to Sinisa, the staff, and the cooks for the great food and service.
