Cactus Club Cafe Sherway Gardens

Been to this Cactus Club many times(prefer this location than their downtown Toronto location) This review is based on our last visit which was Aug 12, 2023 as I'm just getting around to reviewing it.My wife and I had the Avocado dip, truffle fries as apps, The Hunters Chicken(her absolute favourite and only main she ever gets here) I had the Creole Chicken and loved it.For we had the Pearl, the Mezcal Margarita(has a really smokey flavour which I loved because it reminded me of a peaty scotch) but the best drink we both loved was their Jalapeño Margarita!Our server was Zack and his service was phenomenal. He explained every dish and recommended the drinks for us, and he didn't miss. Great service overall!Vegetarian options: Plenty of Veggie options that I saw

This is the truth about Cactus Club Sherway so buckle in. Also a note to Upper management on several experiences I have had at this location. Probably spent over $3000 here and another $1000 in tips. Pictures and receipts to prove.Will (Manager) and Christina the bar manager at Cactus Club Sherway Gardens showed me all their shady little business practices they use to profit off their customers. I will list just 3 of them here.1. They serve old food to customers they just overcook it. If you eat it and pay, then you just got scammed. If you ask them for a new meal cause the old food tastes bad then you will get extreme attitude and will have to wait 30-40 mins for a replacement. They have burnt my steak here on multiple occassions, burnt my chicken, and also given me a fully well done steak on 3 different occassions when I ordered medium, medium rare, medium well etc.2. They water down your drinksEspecially during busy times (happy hour). I have literally witnessed with my own eyes this busboy bartender (Dorian) water down my friends drink. Please contact Jagz from TJ trading as witness. They will try to put little to no alcohol in tequila and vodka seltzers in hopes that customers do not notice. This issue will be reported to my friends at the liquor board.3. They will give you extremely bad service if you did not tip them properly last time. By making you wait 20-30 minutes for a simple drink. Or having the little boys in the kitchen mess up your food on purpose. Remember people, tips are a privilege not a right. Bad service No Tip. Last time I was there this African lady tried to tip herself when I paid cash by giving me less change back. She hoped that I never noticed. Well I did notice and now you and Nicole are getting written up for trying to intentionally scam customers.Not sure about all cactus club locations but the SHERWAY GARDENS location run by WILL and his team has these problems and much much more. Please forward all this info I have written to UPPER MANAGEMENT.P.s One night I came into the bar for some dessert and bar manager Christina literally told me they were dealing with poison issues with the Apple pie that I ordered. Not sure if she was being serious or joking but imagine actually saying that to a customer. Absolute embarrassment to customer service, hospitality in restaurants and business ethics. You should be ashamed of yourself Christina. ?Be seeing all of you soon.Rich NuActor/StuntmanKid-friendliness: Don't bring your kids to this location. I have seen multiple times, random thugs smoking weed right outside the front entrance. Also dirty washrooms, witnessed **** and feces on the floor.

Food tasted amazing and the drinks were great! The upbeat atmosphere makes it the perfect after-work social spot.It's a little loud and a little expensive but would definitely visit here again!Wheelchair accessibility: Since the restaurant has multiple floors, there is an elevator.

Always a 10/10 dining experience. They have a variety of dishes on the menu and each one I’ve had is amazing. The szechuan chicken lettuce wraps are my go-to for appetizers. I would recommend making reservations as it’s very busy around dinner time.
