Contribuer aux commentairesThe food was fantastic! I don't eat often, but it was my birthday and I missed papas souls eating. I saw on yelp and found black wolf dinner club. they had everything I was looking for, except the hornbread. (hint, note, please add to the pages) we have chicken and new Orleans style garnel with an additional order of cookies and elote on the side. we also have the mac n cheese for the non-meat eater in the house. everything had a delicious spicy touch. even the cookies and the honey butter made me moan. they gave us a lot and I have some on homemade yamsen that I had pumped in the many to go with all the others. Unfortunately, it was too spicy for the children, except for the hunch that she eats happily.
Food was great Southern style cooking. Had the gumbo. Very tasty. Was with a group, so tried the hush puppies and crab beniets as well yum! My gumbo didn't come until everyone else was done with their meal, but my wife talked to the manager and he comped us both our food. We just paid the alcohol bill. I would go back to try the spicy chicken.
Food was good but portions were very large and don’t reheat well so make sure you only order what you can eat. Atmosphere is ok but tables are super packed.
Atmosphere was very casual. Food was not bad with Cajun twist to entire menu; Grits, gumbo, fried chicken etc. We had a party of seven. My wife's meal came out well after we all had our food. Gumbo was good. Beware of spice levels! Some dishes were beyond normal spicy hot.
I came here a few months ago and was honestly disgusted by one of their appetizers. Their crab beignets were just flat out bad. it was hard as a rock and tasted like a ball of tempura mix. It was honestly so sad. It also doesn't help that the dish costs $15. They should just take it off the menu. I like the environment and their fried chickens wasn't that bad (just greasy)
