First the silverware was stained, we asked for a new one and the server brought the same ones. Secondly we were rushed with the check and then we noticed that the soda refill cup had lemon pulp inside. How to tell that this cup was already used? Food was bland and not Italian at all.Food: 1/5
Decided to try this place out based on my brother's suggestion and word of mouth, but the place did not feel very Italian. I could be biased since I've been used to going to Olive Garden for Italian, but the way the place appeared looked more like I was going into a bistro or cafe. Our server/waitress didn't seem like they were enjoying the day, and that attitude was washed down on us and made feel a little uncomfortable. The menu options seemed more vegan/vegetarian and lacked enough interest, so I just went for the basic choice.About twenty minutes in and we didn't even get our water until less than five minutes before our food arrived. I tried to get the attention of our waitress or somebody, but nobody bothered. Even the utensils still had food residue on them, which started making me lose my appetite more and more. For an Italian restaurant like this, I did not feel welcome nor included, the atmosphere did not match very well, and the food was not well prepared and looked runny, failing to justify the expensive price for a small bowl of pasta. I hate to be the kind of person to give negative reviews, and maybe it was just one time, but unfortunately that one time was all it took to ruin the experience. You're better off making your own spaghetti or Alfredo.
We had a great server, a charming blonde man who was very attentive. My husband loved his Lasagna, saying the flavor was divine. Unfortunately, my fettuccine shrimp scampi was lacking in garlic, parmesan, olive oil, and parsley, making it a bit bland. I ended up taking most of it home to doctor it up for a midnight snack.
I absolutely loved this meal and will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again. They have an impressive variety of gluten-free options that I have never seen anywhere else. The price was $31 for a meal, drink, and delivery in just 40 minutes. The food easily deserves a 5 out of 5 rating.
