Kiku Japanese Steakhouse - Eustis

I usually get 4-5 star service, but tonight I only give it two because I'm nice. Everything was great, our server took our order and even took my difficult order. I did not want any noodles extra rice and double vegetables (I mean, the vegetables are amazing.... normally). Then this guy sits down and he knows all... even the beautiful busboy. And then everything goes south. Our chef was more interested in socializing with this stupid guy and pouring his will and talking about it, then our food. I know everything about the lives of the guys and I don't care. What happened in the end was 1. My mother asked for no onions, because she is allergic, but they mixed everything together 2. No extra rice, wanted to give me noodles 3. No double vests 4 my sisters Scallops were dried and cooked over 5. Steaks were over cooked and not well seasoned 6. A hot noodle was dropped on my sister's arm, so a brand bc of the chef didn't watch 7. The chicken was last cooked and boiled over and also unnecessary to say it was really disappointing and usually y'all skirt, but you need to tell your chefs that the social hour is for the clock and they need to focus on allllllllll the people at the table. I enjoyed everything about my visit. Our Chef did an awesome job. He was very entertaining, and fixed me the most tender and delicious NY Strip I ever sank my teeth into..two big thumbs up from me!

Haven't gone since they originally opened. Family found it expensive. We continued going to their competitor, Lampu's, for their cheaper price at the time, but after awhile we realized their care and taste of hibachi was going down hill. We headed to Kiku's and realized the extra few bucks and better tasting food was heck of a lot better. Also, very nice staff! Will be returning!

WOW! I live in Orlando and travel to Tavares 2-3 times monthly for work. I consider myself a sushi aficionado so I am always looking for a good place, which is often hard to find, especially with sushi. I can say without reservation that KIKU is incredible. When I walked in, Lisa made me feel right at home as I asked to be seated at the sushi bar. I wanted a couple rolls modified and she said no problem! Michael the sushi chef spoke with me personally, made suggestions and said don 't worry, I will take care of you .. Let me say, he sure did! Great sushi!! Great service!! Great personal touch!! I WILL BE BACK. Thank you Lisa and Michael!
