Velocity Wings - Fairfax

The pickup was quick and easy with a generous portion size. The food was delicious.

I really enjoy the wings at this restaurant, but I am often disappointed with the service. We order food for our office regularly, and there have been multiple occasions where we have been missing dressings and/or veggies that were supposed to be included with our order. When I come in to pick up the food, there is usually no one at the front to assist me, and I have had to wait for someone to come out of the kitchen after calling out for help. Today, I was especially frustrated when I had to wait for the staff to notice me at the bar before getting my order, which was missing the dressings and veggies once again. When I called to let them know about the mistake, the person on the phone simply said "ok" and did not offer an apology. I just wanted to hear an apology. The wings are great, but the staff could use more training in customer service and resolving issues.

We've tried this place many times. The restaurant is clean and has a nice bar area. TVs are available in the booths. However, theel food is average and the takeaway orders have been messed up too many times to count.

Pick-up was ready really quickly. Staff at front was really friendly. Food was VERY disappointing for the cost. Loaded Texas tots came with out the pork in the description. Buffalo nachos were drenched in Buffalo sauce with a few boneless wings thrown on top. Nachos were missing sour cream and guacamole. The chips were stale. No ranch or blue cheese came with the wings. All wing sauces came on the side. My boyfriend did say he really liked the wings after he tossed them which is why I'm giving 2 stars but this meal was NOT worth $50.
