The restaurant is located within the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center, near the big glass doors. My partner ordered a smoothie that wasn't on the menu, which Andy recommended. It had espresso, blueberries, and chocolate protein powder, and it was delicious. I opted for a carrot green juice with carrot, apple, kale, and lion tooth greens, which was also very tasty. We shared a cup of vegan corn chowder that was fantastic. We brought our own metal straws, but Andy informed us that all of their packaging, which looks like plastic, is actually made from compostable corn plastic. Although they can't compost it themselves, it will break down more quickly in landfills compared to traditional plastics. I always appreciate businesses that use non-plastic materials, so I was pleased to hear this information.
This restaurant offers a wide variety of juice and smoothie options, and the staff, particularly Andy, is very friendly and helpful. It is located inside the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center, easily visible through the big glass doors. My partner tried a smoothie that wasn't on the menu, which included espresso, blueberries, and chocolate protein powder - it was delicious! I opted for a carrot green juice with carrot, apple, kale, and dandelion greens, which was also very tasty. We also ordered a cup of vegan corn cuisine, which was wonderfully flavorful. When we asked for our items to go, Andy mentioned that their packaging, which resembles plastic, is actually made of corn plastic and is compostable. While it cannot be put in a home compost pile, it will biodegrade faster in a landfill than traditional plastics, and some places have special composting systems for corn plastics. I was pleased to learn about their eco-friendly practices, as many businesses in Fairfield still rely on Styrofoam.
