Wonderful experience today, food was absolutely delicious, fresh ingredients, super delicious, and hot!! My uncle said this burger was the best he has had in years!! The service was excellent, the server and manager kept checking on everyone. Definitely a treat to stop by today!
Luckily, Red Robin's menu includes the calorie count so only go once a year for their popular burgers. Looking for a restaurant where the servers sing for your birthday, we took our seven-year-old daughter her for a Sunday lunch on her birthday. She loved the burger, free sundae, and the singing! She really loved the entertainment system on the table, which costs a $3.99 entertainment fee on your bill. The service and food were good.
I've been going to Red Robin since I was a kid and it has never disappointed. This was my first time at this location and it was equally amazing. Our server was Jeff (who was also the bartender and the only server in our section), but he pulled off spectacular service and was completely apologetic for the (brief) wait time. I let him know we saw him doing his best with his guest count and managing the bar. We also had some tricky specifications with our group and he went over everything to ensure it was put in correctly. Even while we were dining we overheard other guests saying they specifically come to this location for the spectacular service from Jeff. Last but not least the food and drinks were amazing. We got everything from appetizers to desserts and everything hit the mark. Looking forward to return trips to this location.
Red Robin! Yum! More like, Red Robin, umm, there 's a problem with some dishes. My wife wanted to give them a visit. We went on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was half full. It 's not a good thing to see if you 're the owner. We tried 3 dishes. 1) Crispy Parmesan Brussel Sprouts It was brussel sprouts that were deep-fried until the outer layer was very crispy. There was parmesan cheese and salt sprinkled all around. They were very salty, unfortunately. Otherwise, these were tasty and unusually appealing for their crispness. We drank a lot of water after eating these. If they lower the salt, I 'd recommend this dish. 2) Southwest Salad It had Ancho-grilled chicken breast, black beans, avocado, fried jalapeño coins, tomato, corn, cheddar, fresh lime, and tortilla strips. Served on mixed greens with a side of salsa-ranch dressing. Ancho means ancho chile. It is made from dried poblano peppers. The chicken was very mildly spicy with a modest smoky grilled flavor. It was moist and tender. The ingredients were fresh and the salad was flavorful. There was a problem with the dressing. It was supposed to be salsa-ranch. It was just ranch dressing with no salsa in it. They should tell customers when they run out of things. Their ranch dressing tasted fine, though. Overall, it was a very satisfying southwest salad because it had the expected flavors. 3) BBQ Burnt Ends 'N Bacon Burger The burger had smoked burnt ends, crispy onion straws, melted cheddar cheese, black-peppered bacon, pickles, Whiskey River BBQ Sauce, and mayonnaise. It came with a side of your choice. See below for the side dishes. I ordered the burger cooked medium. It was pink, moist, tender, and juicy. The burger, bacon, and burnt ends were savory with a great char-grilled flavor. The flavor profile was well-rounded and nicely balanced. It was savory, sweet, slightly tangy, slightly salty, and just a bit peppery. All of my taste buds were happy. I strongly recommend this burger. The side choices were Yukon chips, steak fries, steamed broccoli, or a side salad. The side is unlimited in amount, and you can try all of them. Only one choice is allowed at a time, and you are supposed to finish the side before ordering another. There are other sides available for an extra charge. They are garlic parmesan broccoli, coleslaw, garlic fries, or sweet potato fries. We tried the side salad and Yukon chips. The side salad had green leaf and iceberg lettuce, julienned carrots, julienned cheese, finely diced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, red cabbage, croutons, and a dressing of your choice. I got ranch dressing because they make a good tasting one. The salad was fresh, and the variety of ingredients was more than most other restaurants ' side salads. It was quite enjoyable. The Yukon chips were thick and ridge cut like kettle chips. They are called Yukon chips because they are supposed to be made with Yukon gold potatoes. I don 't know if they were Yukon gold potatoes, but the potatoes tasted great and the crispy texture was excellent. The menu stated that they are coated with Red Robin seasoning. All I tasted was salt. Too much salt. The cook added too much salt again. A quantity controlled salt dispenser is needed for that cook. If they lower the salt, I 'd gladly recommend it. Just a thought. Keeping them salty will make people full sooner because they 'll drink more so they 'll order fewer refills. The service was polite, helpful, attentive, responsive, and quick. Our server knew what was needed without being asked. His timing was excellent. He 'd show up right when we were ready for the next course and when we were finished. I couldn 't ask for more! The dining room and restrooms were clean. Hopefully, the excess salt problems are a temporary problem with a solution to come. Otherwise, the food was delicious and very good in many ways.
