O Castelo Restaurante Bar Terraza

Booked at the last moment on the fork, the manager granted us a table with a sea view as soon as it was released after a short wait. Very good fresh fish.

O castelo does not have an extensive menu, but the food was good. The location and ambiance are the main appeal and they deliver. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset over a well-cooked meal.

Hired a cab driver to take us around the city to give us a feel as to where everything is. Said we HAD to have at least one dinner here. Great location, overlook of the city is outstanding. Limited menu but what they offer was outstanding. The chicken was perfectly moist and the sauce was full of flavor. A generous portion of vegetables was provided but not mentioned on the menu (as I recall). Service was attentive but not overly so, so that was appreciated. All-in-all I give them 5 out of 5. I look forward to the next time.

Just the best restaurant in Faro. At all levels. From food, ambience and the people. Without forgetting the most memorable sunset. Recommend 20 out of 10

Very nice place, food was delicious, tuna and octopus perfectly cooked, good wine and all for a very reasonable price; we really had a good time there and the service was very nice.
