My ‘special’ consisted of very dry, overcooked slices of Adana kebab and some very rubbery chicken doused in half a tin of chopped tomatoes. The rest of our dining party’s dishes were equally poor and the portions were really tiny whilst prices were above average for an Istanbul restaurant at this level. The mixed starter had elements which were clearly off and gave a couple of my party upset stomachs. There are dozens of alternatives in this area they my not have the same ambience but will likely have much better food and more competitive prices. Avoid unless you’re desperate to post visually attractive pix/videos on socials
You can sit in this restaurant for hours. It is so comfortable. What drew us in were these ladies that are making stuffed bread. The Turkish name for these breads is Gozleme. There were 10 different varieties on the menu. We ordered the potatoes stuffed bread, there Turkish breakfast and apple cinnamon tea. The staff was super friendly. I highly recommend trying their Gozleme.
Nice ambiance and decent food. The lamb kebabs were juicy and the gozleme was tasty. Was a bit gimmicky and touristy but overall a good restaurant. Staff was friendly.
Touristy restaurant. You will pay more here compared to other. This is solely for experience. Food was just fine. The mix platter was cold and didn’t felt fresh. Decorations are interior atmosphere was very vibrant and welcoming. This place offers cozy seating options. Staff was friendly and service was fine. You pay 10% additional on your bill. Toilets were not clean as expected.
A very special restaurant with funny and nice staff, lovely atmosphere and delicious dishes, we had a great time there!
