Franks Hoppy Bistro - Fenton

The staff was friendly and we were seated right away. Our appetizer of frog legs was delicious but we waited over 30 mins for them and over an hour for our dinner to arrive. We did see at least one couple walk out after waiting for quite a period with no food.When our food arrive it looked good, my husband enjoyed his perch but his fries were under cooked. I had cod and the breading was decent but the fish was really watery and very greasy.

The food was horrible!!! My family will never eat at this place again. I should made a scene and left, but it just wasn’t worth getting that upset about. Goodluck staying in business serving food that bad.

We waiting for 45 minutes and still did not receive our food. Place smelt like grease real bad.

I felt bad for waitress, she was new and giving good service but was jammed up with too many tables. Food was nasty. Greasy greasy. All deep fried and clearly not given any time to drip the grease out. Pure greasy pools that the food sat in. Scallops were undercooked and bit two shells. Clean them! Haddock was over cooked and rubbery. Fries were limp and greasy. Two stars only because the waitress was good. Hard pass.

Husband ordered fish n chips for carry out. Fish was small and soggy, French fries were soggy and stringy and coleslaw was disgusting. Would not order from them again…yuk!!!
