The Original Harbour View

Down at the rocks in Sydney is the Harbour View Hotel, a laid back, unpretentious place for a friendly, casual and good value meal with a heritage feel. Parking is not too hard and it’s easy to book a table. Wine by the glass starts at $7.50 and the Harvey River Shiraz is a generous pour and a good choice.

I come to this place every time when in Sydney and it's gold... Good good, service and staff... Just a great place one of my fav in Sydney... So relaxing

Great Venue Great Food. We had our wedding reception at the Harbour View Hotel what can I say, everything was perfect. A huge thankyou to Lucy, Tanya and their team. We had 53 guests and hired both the Captains Room and the Bridge Room both rooms looked great. The food at the Harbour View Hotel was not pub grub, every meal came out on time and was sensational, I don’t know how they cooked that many steaks and every one was cooked to perfection and hot on the plate, the chicken was also great. Entrees and Desserts were yummo and all our guests commented on how awesome the food was. Nothing was a problem for the wait staff on the night the service was exceptional, there was always someone behind the bar to serve drinks and the meals came out together and on time. When it was time to leave the security staff were patient and very helpful getting everyone out. Both my husband and myself with all our guests had a fantastic night. <br/ <br/ We ate in the Restaurant several times in the lead up to our wedding and every time the food has been great. Do yourself a favour and try the three dips mezze share platter.<br/ <br/ I recommend The Harbour View Hotel for any function or even just a good dinner out in The Rocks, the location is also amazing.

We only ate in the bar but the service was fast and friendly, the food is fresh and won't break the hip pocket. Great place for NYE, didn't wait more than 5 mins for a drink.

The menu is a variety and I think the price for food is ok. Good place for an afternoon pub grub with some mates by the harbour.
