Higher Grounds - Fergus Falls

Higher soils has a good on going food; I especially recommend the Grilled Ham and Cheese Bagel. I enjoyed chatting with the owner and the lady in the kitchen. It has a very friendly service and a pleasantly quiet atmosphere, especially upstairs. I can see where it is ideal for meeting a small group of friends, or even a board business meeting. I like a dark roast coffee. As a visitor of Fergus Falls, I was surprised to learn that they carry their own home coffee mixes. They call it rich, smokey and balanced in fact it is! I paired and loved it with their coffee cookies (its own recipes). This lady can bake. I asked the owner what she attributed to her success, and she said it was going to the friend who baked. After she had brought her to the pack, she said the city came to enjoy her baked stuff. I can see why! It has outdoor seating, Wi Fi, service with delicious soup and sandwich combinations, additional small plate options and tea lattes. It is a decent building – but you must be ready to take a walk on the stairs. They are open 9 am to 5 pm weekdays and Saturday. I highly recommend it.

Cosy little coffee shop works well to go intimate conversations with friends. Love the cones, cookies, smoothies and coffee drinks.

We loved this coffee shop. Great coffee drinks, fantastic country style sandwiches on thick delicious bread, and really friendly employees. Lots to look at, some great jewelry and decor items for sale. Very cozy with tables and couches, we could have stayed for hours chatting with the owner who was just so friendly and willing to spend time chatting with us about pretty much everything. Next time we're in the area, we're stopping by again.
