Agriturismo La Maestà - FOLIGNO

A wonderful host. A refined experience in a charming farmhouse. We chose an air-conditioned room (room no. 8), which had a nice view. The pillow was firm, so I asked Sandro about a softer one he immediately made available. La Maesta's food is great. Breakfast is plentiful: cake, biscotti, eggs, cheese and cold cuts, homemade yogurt, homemade bread, homemade honey and jam and fruit (ca./Pear/kiwi). The cappuccino for breakfast was so good that Hubby drank his, then spun in and drank my. The next morning I asked 3 cappuccinos to have Hubby 2 and I could have one more. Was it embarrassing to meet the stereotypes of Americans who live life, an excess of what every person needs daily? But the ladies laughed at us three cappuccinos every day. Dinner at the restaurant is delicious. We didn't make half board because most nights, we were out. One highlight was the excellent private cooking class of Chef Ledy, with the friendly English translation of Susana. You have adjusted the menu for me (vegetarian hubby (non-vegetarian). We have made Gnocchi, Tagliatelle Maltagliate; three delicious sauces. Chef Ledy showed us how to make a decadent egg dish that we 'll probably end up showing our American friends (only the court, not boss Ledy's secrets on how to do it! What a wonderful experience. We appreciate our memories of La Maesta. In fact, Hubby is now on a search to make what he calls La Maesta Cappuccino. He tries to convince me that we really need a new coffee roaster, a new grinder and an expensive cappuccino machine he found online. He says when we get them, he'll wake up every morning to make La Maesta Cappuccinos before he goes to work. This was literally a life-changing experience. It is not often that you stay somewhere that inspires your spouse to change the way he lives his daily life! La Maesta is conveniently located near a main road, but far enough away from the traffic that you will get a very quiet country experience.

Excellent farm in a typical, well furnished and clean environment. I signal the breakfast, among the best I have done, with eggs, juices, bread, sweets, cheese and sliced all its production or however of quality. Also the excellent dinner based on wild boar or with the crispy egg to try. Recommended rooms: 5
