Bishamon Japanese - Forest Lake

The staff was rude and eating was terrible. I have ordered, dumped and taken away a chicken stable. the dumplings were partly boiled and could not eat them, the chicken pieces were strongly fried and obviously boiled in very old oil. the mistsuppe was cold and had...not, but liquid, none of the extra soultang and tofu etc. would never come back

Bishamon is a restaurant suitable for all ages and a very good selection of fresh food and Japanese drinks. The staff here are very friendly. If you bring along children that don’t know how to use chopsticks they can get some rubber bands and teach...them and/or bring them knifes and forks. Over all Bishamon is a great family restaurant with fresh great tasting food.

We took the whole family (8 people) for a meal and half went for the hot pots whilst half shared a range of dishes. The food was terrific, the hot pots were great fun (all you can eat was value for money for the lads)...and there was even room left for some desserts. It was a place that had both hip young people and families with small kids and everyone seemed to have a great time and enjoy the food.

Our 3rd time eating here but our 1st Hotpot meal. Even though the staff were welcoming we found the language barrier a little frustrating as we said we would like to cook for ourselves but the waitress took over. Unfortunately she upended the pot of...broth into the hotpot which meant there wasn’t any left for later and it boiled away to a salty reduction. On the plus side the vegetables were plentiful and fresh the meat a very generous serving and extremely tender. There was a bit to much meat for us to eat and even though we could not finish the dish due to a more salty broth than we are used to we will definitely go back to this lovely restaurant. Our other two visits were both fun and the food scrumptious; we will just have something other than the hotpot next visit.

The food here is amazing. It felt like I was back in Shinjuku enjoying a Katsu curry!! The price of lunch meals is great and the amount of food you get is astonishing. Now apart of my regularly visited food!
