Gallino Pizza - Forest Lake

I recently discovered a great little local restaurant called Galliano that serves amazing pasta dishes. The portions are generous and they don't skimp on toppings and cheese. However, my partner wasn't a fan of their pizza. We had a disappointing experience when we ordered takeout one night and had to wait much longer than promised. The staff kept telling us it would be ready in 2 minutes, even though it wasn't busy. We would have preferred honesty if they had forgotten about our order.

This restaurant offers delicious Italian cuisine, including amazing pizza. It is our family's top choice for birthdays, celebrations, or simply when we don't feel like cooking on a weekday. The prices are very reasonable.

The restaurant was bustling with customers enjoying their delicious-looking meals. We opted for takeout and ordered the BBQ pizza, which was generously topped. Next time, we'll ask if they offer a BBQ swirl for added flavor. I also tried the spinach gnocchi, which was cooked in a generous amount of cheese and was very indulgent. I will definitely return to try something new, as the quality of the food was excellent.

The gnocchi with feta and spinach is to DIE FOR. The carbonara is also delicious. The pizzas weren’t really for me, but my husband loves them. All in all it’s good stuff and isn’t too expensive . But seriously, eat the gnocchi....!
