I drink my water along with my other drinks and I am not a fan of empty water glasses, especially when there are only 2 tables being sat at. When the restaurant is slow, we should not have to wait or have empty water glasses for a long time. We had 3 apps, entrees and a salad. The bill came to 245.00. We were a party of 3. I had 2 tequilas on rocks, one of us had 2 cocktails from menu and husband had 3 beers. The drinks were 100.00 of the bill portion. Oh well. I get that liqueur and food have increased, but I felt my 2 tequilas were quite high. That is it. Place is nice, food is good, service could have been improved. I still left 20 percent, but as a restaurant worker for most of my life, my pet peeve is an empty glass when there is not more than 5 guests eating in the dining room.
Our second visit. And we 'll be back many more times. Very creative seafood offerings! First, the chips and salsas (two) are unique and incredibly good. The pink moon oysters are a bit small but excellent. Octopus appetizer is one of a kind. And I ordered another app the green apple tuna tartare as a side with my entree. It is my favorite menu item. Swordfish and asada tacos for our entrees. Both rock solid choices. Last time out, it was the shrimp lasagna and tacos de pulpo. Equally great. And all four desserts are stellar. (Although the cookie really a chunky, salted blondie with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce and espresso or cafe con leche is my favorite. Right now, this place is a hidden gem. If you like seafood and unique Latin spices, you will fall in love with Aida. Go.
Nice place, but not the best. The food good, the service better than the food
The food was very well done and with a enough creativity to merit a revisit.
Great Oysters super fresh! Green Ceviche was to die for and we even asked them to swap the Shrimp for the Snapper. Tuna Tostada was spot on with flavor and texture. Shrimp Tacos were amazing. Drinks were handcrafted and tasted great. Spicy Margarita and Dragonfruit Margarita delicious. Only thing that was annoying was they kept trying to clear our plates and we clearly were not done with them. I don’t like feeling rushed especially when the dining room was almost empty for a Saturday night. I don’t understand why the food was amazing. Maybe it’s location not so great.
