Restaurant looks very good and is very clean. Food is ridiculously expensive compared with other restaurants in the area and is generally of a totally average standard. Customers not fault of hotel but would probably be considered as Eurotrash. Can think of no reason to eat here
Serving Fine dining at this beach restaurant. Elegant decoration, superb food for lunch and late lunch. Varieties of cocktails and drinks. Very polite and professional staff.
This is the restaurant on the Augustus Beach club and is open Lunchtimes and in the evenings. We have only ever eaten at lunch as we use the beach club, Trip advisor don 't seem to have a category for beach clubs I will include a review of the club facilities here. First the club very high quality but expensive the high season rate is from €200 €300 per day depending on how close to the sea you are this is for a tent a couple of deck chairs and a couple of sunbeds plus two lockable cupboards enough for 2 4 people BUT the facilities are great those not familiar with a quality Italian beach will be surprised the sand is swept every night so in the morning it is smooth with no footprints rubbish is non existent and there are pedalos, sailboats etc to hire plus lifeguards. There is a swimming pool primarily for children (not suitable for doing lengths) a children 's play area a beach bar surrounded with stylish casual sofas beach huts showers toilets (there is a permanent toilet attendant so the toilets are cleaned almost after every use and are spotless). The manager told us there are 63 staff employed on this beach! There are two lunchtime eating locations the Bambiassa Restaurant which is on a deck overlooking the beach and a la carte or 'the garden ' which provides an extensive buffet in a garden behind the beach huts. We have use this beach club over many years and it has been constantly improved the Bambiassa is now excellent we like a light lunch and they provide daily specials which are often superb the best was langoustine risotto with black truffle shavings on another day I had tiny tempura shrimps on zucchini carpaccio. Though simple we very much like Fragolini (wood strawberries) and these are usually available with a scoop of vanilla ice cream . This makes for a perfect lunch on a hot day. Service is also excellent but don 't forget to make a reservation just walking up from the beach at 13.30 14.00 will more than likely find you turned away.
Nice location, very nice staff and prepared, excellent cuisine.
