I came in around 5 pm… the owner quickly greeted me and sat me. He then proceeded to provide me with one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure I had everything to my liking. Normally this would be an expectation when dining out, but it’s rare these days. I ordered a breakfast combo… hard to mess up one might say. But I’ve been to this IHOP in the past and they always found a way. This man took over the restaurant a few months back (learned this from a friendly conversation at the end while I was paying). It’s clear that he’s doing the right things and has righted the ship. And what made the experience truly stand out was that he took care of everything. He was the greeter, the waiter, the cook, and the manager. I know in this economy it can be difficult to get by and I’m guessing he has to do it this way right now to get by. I can appreciate that greatly and I’ll definitely be back to support his business with my belly and my wallet. Good service is hard to find. It’s even harder to find someone so positive and working so hard to make it in life these days. I have tremendous respect for this man.
