The place has recently been bought and the food has gone from surprisingly good (it had been poor some years back) to basic delivery ****. The pizza, which was the best bar pizza, now rivals only Digiorno for taste. I had a shrimp backet. 5 or 6 fried shrip and a tiny thing of coleslaw for $22. The pasta was terrible. If you're in the area and want good bar food, Woodys and Fireside are nearby.
Pizza was good and got food fast. Waitress was very helpful to us and best of all with half price pizza and wings dinner was only $16 for two.
We had a fantastic experience on our first visit to The Cabin Restaurant—the food and atmosphere were both excellent. However, our second visit was a letdown. We started with the garlic shrimp, which was delicious, but the garlic steak tips fell short. They lacked garlic flavor and, despite requesting them medium rare, they arrived medium. The brisket mac and cheese was still as good as we remembered from our previous visit, but the BBQ Pit Master 4, which includes ribs, brisket, and pork, was disappointing. The meat was lukewarm and dry, as if it had been sitting out too long. The collard greens were tasty, but the cornbread was stale. In addition there were several flies flying around, landing our food. We had to consistently shoo them away which was very annoying. Seems like their food production is inconsistent. For the prices, our food should not disappoint. Not sure if we will be returning for another dining experience.
First time and wow can’t wait to go back! Our waitress Renee was super helpful and gave great recommendations! Everything we got was amazing!
Went there with some friends for some drinks and live music. The staff was very accommodating. They first seated us by the dining area because we were a group of 6. There was no space in the area where the band was playing. Later, they allowed us to move closer to where the band was as a booth cleared up. They did a great Malibu Bay Breeze for my wife, a gin martini for myself. Later I had two whiskey sours and a coconut mojito for my wife. The band playing (named 9 South) was really awesome. We all danced most of the night. I also befriended their saxophone player after their performance. This is definitely worth coming back to.
